The Epiphone SG Classic Worn features a solid Mahogany body and is adorned with a signature SG-style “batwing” pickguard. This guitar proudly carries the historic profile of the vintage SG, which briefly took the spotlight away from the Les Paul as the pinnacle of solid-body guitars.
Crafted with a set Mahogany neck, the SG Classic Worn offers an effortless playing experience thanks to its SlimTaper profile, characteristic of the 1960s. The neck's worn open grain finish, combined with the aged color variations, imparts an elegant aesthetic to the guitar. Boasting a 24.75” scale length, the fingerboard comprises 22 medium jumbo frets and an Indian Laurel surface embellished with dot inlays, complemented by a 12” radius. Additionally, the fingerboard is enhanced with white binding, and the ABS nut measures 1.68”.
The guitar showcases Epiphone's renowned small sloped dovewing headstock, which features a distinctive “bell” shaped truss rod cover. This is further accentuated by the Epiphone logo, slanted in a 1960s-era style and crafted from mother of pearl.
